Therapy provides individuals the opportunity to confidently talk through problems or situations with a trained professional. It does not necessarily make problems disappear, but it equips individuals with the tools needed to cope with them more appropriately. I help clients work through unresolved traumas that are holding them back from being the best person they can be.

FAMILY & COUPLES THERAPY

Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy is often short term. It may include all family members or just those able or willing to participate. Your specific treatment plan will depend on your family's situation. Family therapy sessions can teach you skills to deepen family connections and get through stressful times, even after you're done going to therapy sessions. I provide a safe space where everyone will have the opportunity to express themselves. We will work as a team to identify how to rebuild torn relationships and have a better understanding of one another.

My Approach to Therapy

As your therapist I will provide a safe, non judgment space for you to talk through whatever is causing you distress. I believe true life transformation requires an integrated approach addressing the whole person including mind, body and spirit. I am known for my inviting, relaxed and comfortable approach to therapy. I utilize several different therapeutic modalities according to the needs of the Client such as Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Positive Psychology. I work with Clients from a strength based, solution focused, and affirming perspective. Not only will I be your therapist,  I will also be your accountability partner. I will gently remind you of your goals and help keep you on track. Therapy is a space where vulnerability is very important for healing. I encourage you to allow yourself to go to the places in your mind that has cause distress. We will work together in processing those feelings, without them taking over your life.  I am passionate about assisting you reach your desired outcome. My hope is to assist in your transformational journey to becoming who you were created to be.
